You will learn about basic concepts of Geographic Information Systemas (GIS) and Cartography. You will learn about cartographic projections, reference systems, data sources, raster and vector GIS software, etc. You will know existing GIS software (free and privative) and their usage to be able to choose the one that suits your aims, and you will learn them quickly and intuitively. You will know real cases of GIS use and will be able to apply it to your daily work. You will learn basics of geographic data sources and where to find them.
